Our Story

A family business built on experience

Whitsunday Homes is a family-owned building company founded by the Bird family — former Perth builders who relocated to Queensland and built a portfolio spanning three building companies and over 100 residential and commercial projects.

We brought that experience to the Whitsunday region because we saw an opportunity to do things differently — a builder who combines genuine construction expertise with personal service. Led by licensed builder Dave Bird with 15+ years of experience, we take on a limited number of projects each year so every client gets the attention they deserve.

We're not a volume builder. Every home is treated like it's our own — because this is a family business, and our name is on every one of them.
